The Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of Defense has just signed an agreement with the PCO company, belonging to the PGZ Group, covering a procurement of night vision systems at a pricetag of almost 96 million zlotys. The deliveries are scheduled to happen over the period between 2019 and 2020.

Within the framework of the agreement the manufacturer would be delivering 128 MU-3 NVG kits, 554 MU-3AM NVG kits and 665 MU-3ADM miniaturized NVG kits. MU-3 and MU-3AM are modern night vision monoculars designed for the individual use.

This agreement is yet another order placed with regards to supply of optoelectronics for the individual troops, and it is also the best confirmation of the fact that PCO S.A.’s products can be listed among the most modern solutions available on the market in their class, meeting the top tier requirements associated with use on modern battlefield.

Paweł Glica, President of the Management Board at PCO S.A.

MU-3AM is one of the lightest systems of this kind available on the market nowadays. It is already in use in the Polish military. It can be used in a helmet-mounted variant, on a dedicated head harness and on the weapons, with the use of Picatinny rail mounts.

My priority, as a head of the Polish MoD, is placed in the domain of Poland’s security, and the security of the Poles. To meet the requirements related to this priority the Polish military must use state of the art equipment. Everywhere and whenever it is possible this equipment shall be provided by the Polish defence industry.

MU-3ADM NVG system are created through coupling of two MU-3AM monoculars. MU-3ADM system exhibits compact and lightweight design, it is solid and reliable in field conditions, it also offers very good performance when it comes to detection, recognition and visual ID.

We are ready to work on even most convoluted commitments with the Polish military. PCO S.A. uses the latest technologies. The company also employs qualified personnel and pursues innovation. PCO is manufacturing equipment of good quality that has already been appreciated by Polish and foreign users. We place a lot of emphasis on development, investing the funds we earn. We are ready to implement further contracts.

Sebastian Chwałek, Vice-President of the Management Board, PGZ S.A.

It was in September 2019, during the first day of the MSPO exhibition in Kielce, when the company secured an order concerning delivery of optoelectronics for the Polish military valued at PLN 50 million (gross).

Since 2015 the change has become real and we have noticed some progress. Not too long ago I have approved a new Technical Modernization Plan covering the period between 2021 and 2035, covering a 15-years term, also taking into account the next year, with a record-breaking pricetag of PLN 524 billion. This is a foundation on which modernization of the Polish military can be established. This is not the last agreement as such. We will be making use of the know-how and expertise that PCO provides.
