IDZ-50 and ISZ-50 IFF Interrogators

The IFF Mark XIIA system interrogators IDZ-50 and ISZ-50 are designed to co-operate with long- and medium-range radars. They operate in 1, 2, 3/A, C and S mode. The use of mode 4 and/or 5 is possible if a suitable encrypting computer is included. They can also co-operate with a GPS receiver.

TRL-50 and TRN-50 IFF Transponders

TRL-50 is a remotely-controlled Mark XIIA IFF System transponder, designed to be installed at aircraft or naval vessels. It operates in mode 1, 2, 3/A, C and S. The use of mode 4 and/or 5 is also possible, if a suitable encrypting computer is installed.

TRL-50 can also act as an interrogator within the Reverse IFF (RIFF) System, designed to identify air-to-ground. If the RIFF System is to be used, it is neccesary to include an encrypting computer.

TRN-50 is a remotely-controlled IFF System transponder, designed to be installed at aircraft or naval vessels. It is neccesary to include an encrypting computer, to enable operations of TRN-50.

IKZ-02 Short Range IFF Interrogator

IKZ-02 is a short range Mark XA and Mark XII IFF Interrogator. It is designed to co-operate with short range air defence systems, including MANPADS, as well as other missile and artillery-based short range air defence systems. It can be used by units of different services of the armed forces, including Navy.

It is fully automated, and can operate in mode 1, 2, 3/A or 4, as well as in the national secure mode. It is possible to transmit the result of identification to the air defence systems, to block the firing sequence in case the target is identified as „friendly”. It can be used as a portable system as well.
