First Optronics Conference In Poland. “Optronics For National Security and For Security Of The Citizens”
PCO S.A., in cooperation with the Military University of Technology, Polish Technological Platform on Photonics, and the Warsaw University of Technology, is organizing the first conference which is going to cover the field of the optronic devices. The meeting is going to take place on 7th and 8th October, in Rawa Mazowiecka.
The conference, which is planned to happen on 7th and 8th October this year, is going to cover the issues related to optronics, including thermal vision devices and photonics. The tagline of this year’s meeting reads as follows: “Optronics For National Security and for Security of the Citizens”. Within the framework of the conference, issues related to research and scientific cooperation between the defence industry, universities and research institutes, are going to be discussed.
Optronics is a state-of-the-art, high-tech, evolving field of science. The optronic products may be used both by the civilian users, as well as by the military. The aim of the conference is to create a platform for exchange of the relevant experiences and information, related to the process of development of the optronic devices, proving that the Polish industry, science and research and development facilities are involved in innovative activities.
Kardasz, President of the PCO S.A. company, strongly stresses the fact that optronics may be used both by the military, as well as by the civilian users. The meeting is going to make it possible to exchange the experiences and information related to the optronic devices. Ryszard Kardasz noted that the meeting is significant, within the scope of demonstrating that the Polish companies, scientific organs and R&D facilities are all involved in very innovative and groundbreaking activities.
