18 Submissions Made in the PGZ President Selection Process
The competitive process that is going to be carried out to select a new president for the PGZ Group is going to involve 18 candidates – this is the number of submissions made, according to the information released by the Deputy Director at the PGZ Bureau for Promotion and Communications, Robert Papliński.
It was last Thursday when, during a general meeting of the PGZ shareholders, the composition of the supervisory board has undergone major changes. The newly appointed board has had the former management board dismissed and appointed a new President – Jarosław Skiba. A competitive process was announced too, with an objective to select a new President. The submission deadline had been set on last Wednesday.
The candidates need to have at least 3 years of experience in management or in running their own businesses, along with “secret” level security clearance.
The Acting President Skiba previously was working as the President at the Państwowa Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych (Polish Security Printing Works). Before that he had been a Deputy Head at the Ministry of Interior and Administration and a Director at the PM’s Office. For some time he was also working as the General Director at the Polish Central Statistical Office.
PGZ Needs More Human Resources
According to the release issued by PGZ, a recruitment procedure was also initiated on 14th February, to select a new member of the management board at the company. The submission deadline is set on 20th February, 3PM. Then, the Supervisory Board would invite the candidates who passed the initial verification to an interview.
PGZ also assumes that more than a single Board Member could be selected within the said procedure.
