The Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of Defence announced that two bidders have made submissions in the procurement procedure concerning the platoon-level weapons training simulator of the Rosomak APC.

The Rosomak APC weapons training simulator tender has been announced in late January this year. The tender has been aimed at the acquisition of a simulator that would be used to carry out combat/military scenarios and to train soldiers enlisted within the motorized platoons equipped with Rosomak APCs using the Hitfist-30 turrets. Another requirement that has been set assumes that the simulator shall provide the user with an ability to carry out training engagements and tactical scenarios (defence, offense, interdiction, movement) at a platoon level, within a virtual battlespace.

According to the information provided by the Armament Inspectorate, two bidders submitted requests to participate in the tendering procedure, meeting the deadline of 30th March 2020:

  1. Autocomp Management Sp. z o.o. + Autocomp Serwis Sp. z o. o.
  2. Thales Polska Sp. z o. o. + Thales AVS France SAS

The offers would be assessed with the price (96 percentage points) and the guarantee term (6 percentage points) taken into the account. According to the provisions within the tender specs, the winning bidder would be expected to deliver no more than 4 simulator systems.

A comprehensive simulator system shall include at least two manned stations replicating the Hitfist-30 turret and the control compartment of the  Rosomak  APC, instructor-operator station, and training coordinator station, both with proper computer hardware.
