Polish humanitarian aid will soon reach the Ukrainian soldiers
As the Ministry of National Defence informs, upon the requests of the Ukrainian side, the first cargoes of the humanitarian aid have been prepared. They should reach the most needed ones before the end of August.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defence Jacek Sonta emphasizes that these actions are the result of the agreement, signed on the 14th of August this year between the Polish and the Ukrainian sides. Pursuant to that agreement, in accordance with demand placed by the Ukrainian side, 320 tons of cargo have been prepared. Among the donated goods, there is food with prolonged shelf-life, blankets, mattresses and bedding. All donated goods come from the military supplies.
The Ministry has informed that on Monday the first transports of the donated goods have set off. The giving out of the resources intended for the Ukrainian army will be completed on the 28th of August. The goods are loaded onto the vehicles and they will be delivered to the warehouse in the military unit near Lvov that had been indicated by the Ukrainian side.
