PIT-RADWAR Tests New Solutions for the Wierzba Land Forces Integrated Command System
CWIX (Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXercise, eXamination, eXperimentation, eXploration) exercise has been organized and is taking place between 8th and 26th June 2020. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s edition is fully scattered, with the individual elements staying at their original locations.
CWIX exercises are aimed at researching, testing, and verifying innovative ICT solutions that play a key role in the effective functioning of the command elements.
This year PIT-RADWAR S.A. is testing its new interoperability-focused solutions used within the Fenix C2IS system. The system has been offered by PIT-RADWAR, within the framework of a procurement procedure organized by the Armament Inspectorate of the Polish Ministry of Defence, aimed at acquiring the “Wierzba” Integrated Automated Command System for the Land Forces.
The exercise is organized by ACT (Allied Command Transformation) and it involves 20 nations and 2 international organizations (NATO and the EU). The exercise participants are involved in the operations staying within the territory of their states, while the whole exercise is coordinated from the Bydgoszcz-based Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC).
