The Motorized Floating Bridge, a Major Asset for the Mobility of the Polish Tactical Units

The latest version of the Motorized Floating Bridge, to be delivered to the Polish forces by 2025, has state-of-the-art tactical and technical capabilities.

Transported by a combination of a 6x6 tractor and a motorized trailer, it adapts to the customer's needs and offers all-terrain mobility: mud, steep, slope...

Thanks to the outboard motors integrated into the modules and the locking systems, the PFM can be deployed easily. On average, less than 30 minutes are required to deploy 100 metres of bridge in any bank condition. In an area where the individual modules can be launched in parallel, the construction time can be reduced to 15 minutes.

In addition, the rigidity of the bridge ensures that troops can cross quickly and safely. The PFM therefore allows the passage of a continuous flow of more than 200 vehicles per hour, day and night, regardless of the weather conditions.
