Armoured Loader Excavator Procurement Launched by the Polish MoD. Who Are the Bidders?
Responding to an inquiry made by Defence24 regarding the planned loader-excavator procurement, pertaining to the bidders involved in the preliminary market consultation, the Armament Agency responded as follows:
“I hereby inform you that the following entities made their submissions in the preliminary market consultation:
- Consortium formed by: IH Systems Sp. z o.o. – leader of the consortium, and IBKOL Sp. z o.o. – consortium partner.
- AT Tomasz AFFET.
- Huta Stalowa Wola S.A.
- Bergerat Monnoycur Sp. z o.o.
- MILDAT Sp. z o.o.
- SZCZĘŚNIAK Pojazdy Specjalne Sp. z o.o.
- TEKNE S.p.A.

No specifics were given regarding the specific vehicle designs offered to the Polish Armed Forces. Currently one may only make assumptions within that scope, based on the readily available information regarding the business portfolios of the above entities. For instance, in the case of HSW S.A., the offer may refer to a development variant of the UMI loader-excavator. Bergerat Monnoycur Sp. z o.o. may offer its Penelopa model (CAT 432 derivative). One cannot however be completely certain, as to what bids would be placed by the individual bidders.
