We are a company that has, recently, signed the most significant contracts in the Polish defence industry – as Bernard Cichocki, President of the Management Board at HSW S.A assures, stressing that not only is the offer of the company being expanded with the Polish Army in mind, but it is also addressed to the export customers.Among the most important products, Cichocki listed the Borsuk IFV premiered during the MSPO exhibition, Regina module with Krab howitzers, and Rak mortar based on the Rosomak wheeled APC.

It is a historic contract, unprecedented in the Polish industry, since the agreement value is around PLN 4.5 billion. Both artillery solutions are being delivered to the customer - the Polish Armed Forces. Nonetheless, HSW is also fighting to sign potential export contracts. Moreover, the facility is being expanded, new staff - educated, and manufacturing processes - modernized. Not only would the facility be able to manufacture Krab or Rak platforms, as it is also going to be capable of creating the latest Borsuk IFVs.
Borsuk, the new amphibious IFV, a full size model in its final shape, or dimensions, so to speak, has also been presented today (...) It is a project financed and implemented by the National Centre for Research and Development We are almost sure that it is going to be a successful product, and in the future we hope it to be one of the primary items manufactured at HSW (...) Everything that we are doing, we do it for our Army and for the purpose of getting sales opportunities outside Poland.
Alongside the Borsuk platform, HSW S.A. has also been working on other new products such as the ZSSW-30 remote control turret module created in collaboration with WB Electronics (HSW acts as the leader of the consortium). Kryl self-propelled howitzer was also being presented during the MSPO exhibition.
When it comes to Borsuk, we are a leader of the consortium, we are receiving a lot of support from the academia, From the Military University of Technology, from the War Studies University, The calculations are also being performed by the University of Technology. In series production this is also going to be a product shared between the PGZ companies.
