Donbass Is Still Being Attacked By The Separatists. 152 mm Artillery In Use

Pro-Russian forces are still attacking the Ukrainian Army. On Wednesday, 11th March, only between 5AM and 6PM 24 grenade launcher, mortar and machine gun fire incidents were noted. 28 attacks were said to take place between 7PM and midnight.
The terrorists’ offensive operation is directed mainly towards the Donetsk section of the front line. Towns of Avdiyivka, Vodyane and Pisky are regularly shelled by 152 mm artillery, which constitutes a proof of the fact that the Russian-Terrorist forces do not act in compliance with the Minsk memorandums, as they have not withdrawn the heavy equipment from so called “demarcation lines”. According to the operational data, the equipment has been basically dispersed. The towns of Avdiyivka, Opytne, Wodyane and Pisky are additionally attacked by mortars and grenade launchers.
When it comes to the southern region of the battlefield, Mariupol has become an arena for machine gun fire and snipers. The town of Shyrokine is one of the flashpoint located at the lines which separate the territories, similarly to Artiomovsk and Łuhansk.
As it has been stated for couple of weeks now by the press services of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence “despite the provocative shelling, the anti-terrorist operation forces open fire only in a response to the aggression”. The Ukrainians continue to reinforce the fortifications, while the soldiers maintain full combat readiness.
