Corporate Social Responsibility Of The PCO Company

PCO S.A. company claims that it is carrying out its business in line with the rules of Corporate Social Responsibility. The Company decided to participate in the National “Cursed Soldiers” Remembrance Day.

PCO also supports the initiatives undertaken in order to provide help to war veterans and victims of the peacekeeping operations. The company underlines the fact that this is closely tied to the area of business activity. At the same time, representatives of the concern participate in social and charity initiatives, such as “Szlachetna Paczka” (“Noble Parcel”) organized in Poland.

PCO’s President of the Board, Ryszard Kardasz, notes that conducting business activities in a responsible way is one of the priorities for the company’s management. Kardasz stresses the fact that not only is the company acting in line with the highest standards when it comes to the provided solutions, but also within the scope of business and social stances.

It is our priority to manage the company in a responsible way. For us, the employees who get involved, sustainable partnership in business and responsible cooperation with the clients and suppliers are the main symptoms of success. We are awarded for developing independent solutions in the field of optoelectronic devices and laser technology, however, the awards are above all a confirmation that our business attitude and social attitude are compliant with the highest standards.

PCO company stresses the fact that one of the important fields of business activities, undertaken in line with the rules of Corporate Social Responsibility, is dealing with provision of support for the national scientific and research potential and entrepreneurs. This is realized both through cooperation with the state institutions, such as the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Military University of Technology, or Air Force’s Institute of Technology, as well as within the scope of organizing open days, training programmes or internships for the students and the graduates.

Representatives of the company note that not only are the CSR-related tasks realized by the international corporations, but also by the Polish companies, including those acting in the field of defense. PCO also claims that it is going to act towards keeping the harmony in the lives of its employees – balance is to be kept between the career and the private life.
