Upgraded FlyEye UAVs for the Polish Army
Polish Ministry of Defence announced that the Polish Armed Forces have received modernized FlyEye UAVs.
“Polish UAVs have become even more reliable. The Polish Armed Forces received 5 FlyEye UAV sets in November - the UAVs have been upgraded to the latest variant. These UAVs have been used for years, both by the operational forces, including the artillerymen, as well as the Territorial Defence units”, a release issued by the Polish Ministry of Defence via X reads.

The information on the modernization of 5 FlyEye UAV sets have become public in early 2023. The undertaken works entailed a cost of PLN 17 million. All procurement- and upgrades-related procedures, as well as maintenance and training services, were performed by WB Electronics S.A.

“There are more performance contracts ahead of us, stemming from the framework agreement signed during this year’s MSPO event, on procurement of almost 1,700 UAVs – more than 400 sets, with the latest development variants of the system”, the release issued by the Armament Agency reads.
