Russian Drone Shot Down By The Ukrainian Forces

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence stated that the Ukrainian Army shot down, on 7th June, the enemy’s unmanned reconnaissance aircraft.
The event took place in the Donetsk area, near Valerianivka. The Ukrainians did not release any info as to what type of the drone was shot down, it is speculated though that the unmanned aerial vehicle belonged to the Russian soldiers operating in the eastern part of the country.
The Ukrainian specialists note that the separatists have stopped utilization of the drones solely for reconnaissance purposes. Now the drones are also used to coordinate, in real time, artillery and mortar shelling.
